How would you like to take a bite out of the "Big Apple" and experience all those great museums, art & culture? Maybe you would, but a visit to New York City is so expensive! Well, not with the JTCC Art Club! How about a mere $220 (only $170 for JTCC students!) for transportation (chartered bus) to & from NYC and 2 night accommodations (The Wellington Hotel) in lovely Midtown New York City? Your only additional expenses will be meals, museum admissions, subway/taxi (and you walk just about everywhere to save money & see the sights) and shopping! Can you beat this deal? Maybe if you stayed at home in bed all weekend! Here are the details:
- Thursday, April 12th, 11:30 PM – Arrive at the Midlo Campus ready to board the bus & leave for NYC.
- Friday, April 13th, 12 AM (midnight) – We will be departing by chartered bus from the Midlo Campus. Get your beauty sleep on the bus!
- Friday, April 13th, 7 AM - We'll arrive in NYC in the morning and check our bags at the Wellington Hotel. You can head uptown with the Art Club to check out the Guggenheim Museum, Neue Galerie, Whitney Museum and/or Frick Collection. After checking into our rooms in the afternoon, possibly a visit to the Museum of Modern Art near the hotel.
- Saturday, April 14th - You can join the Art Club for a visit to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Central Park and maybe a few surprises.
- Sunday, April 15th, 11:30 AM – Check-out at the hotel, bags packed ready to go.
- Sunday, April 15th, 12 PM (noon) – The bus is leaving with or without you! We'll be back to Richmond around 7 PM.
