Midterm Portfolio Review is March 1.
Extra credit opportunity:
visit Artspace to see the current exhibition which opens on Feb 24. Select your favorite watercolor, photograph it and post it to blog with a description of why you chose it of all the watercolors in the exhibition. Describe the techniques used and subject matter, list the artists name and the title of the piece.

Homework:
Begin Botanical II. Select a second value study - use the same flower, but a different composition. Build upon lessons learned from Botanical I.
Goals:
Can we tell what kind of flower you are depicting?
What techniques have you used?
Is it a good composition?
Is a dymanic interesting painting?
Does it represent your subject matter well?
We will have a working critique of you watercolors during class on Thursday,
